Disruption will take down the most robust of businesses and monopolies, unless those businesses are willing to change and do so at a pace which delivers a fair and equitable value exchange for their customers (and stakeholders).

Today, an 11-year-old (or 68-year-old) in the furthest flung corners of the world can setup a website and sell a product or service. That product or service can be shipped and delivered from anywhere in the world to anywhere else… truly this has flattened the playing field.

There are some restrictions such as shipping and weight, but these soon will be disrupted themselves by technology, are you ready?

You can’t just rely on the strength of your brand anymore.

You need to put your customers at the centre of what you do and have digital seamlessly woven throughout the business. Delivering not just an average service, but be constantly developing so as not to fall behind someone else who has started up with better technology and with a new idea.
